Prada predicts that sales in the Chinese market will reach 3 times current in 2-3 years

The Prada brand expects that within one year, sales in Asia will account for half of total sales, while sales in China will reach three times in the next 2-3 years.

Deputy Carlo Mazzi said: "At present, 40% of our business is from Asia and will rise to 50% in the next year. And I don't think China's economy will be affected by the economic crisis too much."

The Prada brand was listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in June 2011. In January, the 2011 spring-summer fashion show was also held in Beijing. The brand also announced that sales in the first six months rose 38% from the same period last year to reach 223 million euros.

In addition to the Prada brand, brands such as Burberry, Christian Dior, and Rebecca Minkoff also target the Chinese market.
