2.2 Wash

2.3 Tenter drying

Fibers swell and expand after wetting, with less change in length and more increase in diameter . Therefore, when the fabric is dyed by padding , the yarn diameter suddenly increases . Since the cold dyeing is a tight device , the warp of the fabric is subjected to greater tension, and the increase in warp yarn diameter overlaps until the crepe of the fabric is produced.
If the first tentering before dyeing, the gap between the aligned warp yarns, fabric dyeing, swelling occurring after wetting expanded, so, there is some space between the warp yarns, can prevent occurrence of wrinkles.
Practice has proved that the dry cloth must be tentered before dyeing, and the width of the tenter is equal to or slightly larger than the wet cloth width.
