Annette’s 2010 “Music Unlimited • Comfortable Growth” theme activity launched nationwide

Children's Day is a time when kids are full of joy, shouting "Mom, I love you" with enthusiasm and eagerly accepting gifts. They claim they're not just wrapped in their mother's candy shells. Every parent, however, tends to be quite "unreasonable" when giving presents. They dress up in new clothes, bring along toys, and engage in playful exchanges with their children. Some even switch the TV to educational content—just to make their kids feel it's for their own good. It’s truly a tough job being a parent in today’s world. From the "bitter meat count" mindset to "putting in their favor, a clean sweep," parents go to great lengths to ensure their children become successful. They use all sorts of tricks, putting in countless efforts to nurture their kids' potential. In an effort to help children grow while still enjoying their childhood, Shenzhen recently launched a theme event based on the "Eight Intelligences." This innovative program has captured the attention of many families and is expected to spread across the country soon. Experts believe that fostering balanced development in these eight types of intelligence helps uncover each child’s unique strengths, preparing them better for the future. The "Big Eight Intelligence" concept is the highlight of Annette’s 2010 “Music Unlimited • Comfortable Growth” campaign. Developed by renowned psychologist Dr. Howard Gardner, this approach adapts the theory of multiple intelligences to the Chinese parenting environment. The games introduce the idea of multiple intelligences into daily life, transforming academic theories into fun, engaging activities that children enjoy. Through these games, kids can develop their linguistic, logical-mathematical, musical, bodily-kinesthetic, naturalistic, spatial, interpersonal, and intrapersonal intelligences. Not only does this help improve their overall cognitive abilities, but it also allows parents to identify their child’s strongest talents. This insight can guide more effective and scientific child-rearing in the future. At the event, many parents encouraged their children to participate in the games. One mother shared her experience: "My daughter stood out in the musical-rhythm intelligence test. She imitated the rabbit in the game and completed the task successfully. Not only did she follow the music rhythm well, but she also added some words. I’ve decided to focus on music training for her now!" This kind of interactive learning makes the process enjoyable and meaningful, helping children discover their strengths while growing up happily.
