The selection scope includes Beijing, Taiyuan, Shanghai, Xi'an, Guangzhou, Nanjing, Wuhan, Dalian, Shijiazhuang and more than 10 cities in the country, involving more than 220 companies' clothing brands, and 56 brands of domestic production companies and 11 companies. Overseas brands.

The selection and assessment of the public from ten aspects including quality performance, technological innovation, creation of popularity, technology level, environmental protection and safety, reasonable price, packaging appearance, sales service, advertising effectiveness, social integrity, etc. The delegation and China Institute of Social Investigation jointly identified 21 leaders in the apparel industry.

For a long time, most of China’s export garments have been processed for foreign brands and have been at the low end of the apparel production value chain. The "Eleventh Five-Year Plan for Development of the Textile Industry" issued before this year clearly stated that the apparel industry should increase and accelerate the construction of its own brand. Not long ago, relevant departments decided to set up special funds to support the textile industry. Their support includes the construction and promotion of independent brands of textile and apparel.
